Ace DS1015

This is the awesome DS1015 Metal-Geared, Coreless, Ball Bearing, Hi-Torque Digital Servo from Thunder Tiger (distributed by Ace R/C in the USA). This servo replaces the previous model DS1013 (ACE8119) servo. This servo was designed specifically for high performance R/C cars and monster trucks and has a universal connector which will fit Airtronics, JR, Hitec and Futaba receivers (be careful with the polarity of the connector for Futaba radios). It also includes a large heatsink servo case so it can deliver the huge amount of torque it is rated for without breaking a sweat! This is one of the fastest and most powerful servos on the market, and makes a killer steering servo for large monster trucks and truggies!

Note: Due to the high torque capabilities combined with the high speed of the servo, it does draw more power from your battery pack than most other servos (you don't get that much speed and power for free!). For 1/8th scale buggies make sure you are running a 2000mAh battery pack if you wish to make it through a one hour main. We recommend either a 5-cell 2300mAh AA battery pack, or one of the new 2000mAh Lithium Poly battery packs with a regulator.
